Sunday : Depart from your local pick up point and travel to Heysham for the ferry crossing to Douglas. Monday : Board the Steam Train as it carries you through the Manx countryside to the popular resort of Port Erin, before continuing to Cregneash Folk Village, an historic chapter in island life. On the return journey to Douglas we visit Castletown to see Castle Rushen and the Old School House. Tuesday : Follow the Isle of Man’s famous TT course, stopping at Peel before travelling across the island to ‘Royal’ Ramsey. Peel sits grandly at the mouth of the harbour is an attractive resort complete with castle, flat sandy beach, harbour, heritage centre and smoked kipper factory. Wednesday : Spend the morning at leisure exploring Douglas, home of the award winning Manx Museum. In the afternoon we visit the iconic Lady Isabella - the world’s largest working waterwheel and the island’s most famous icon. Also included is the mountain railway up to the summit of Snaefell. Thursday : After an early breakfast , we return by ferry to Heysham and continue the journey home.
