TURKEY & TINSEL BREAK in the LAKE DISTRICT 2024

Monday:
Depart from your local pick up point, stopping off on the way at Ulverston before continuing to the Cumbria Grand Hotel. Settle in and unpack. Get dressed and head down for a glass of pre- dinner Bubbly or Sherry. Then it's into the Restaurant for a tasty carvery Dinner before sitting back and enjoy your first evening's entertainment.
Tuesday: ‘CHRISTMAS EVE’
Enjoy a full English breakfast then collect your Jumbo Quiz forms, full day tour along the shores of Windermere to Keswick, stopping off at Grasmere on the return journey before returning to the hotel for 3-course dinner. After a delicious Christmas Eve' Dinner there will be another evening of live entertainment to look forward to.
Wednesday: ‘CHRISTMAS DAY’
A tasty full English breakfast will be served. Spend the day in the hotel or take a walk into the beautiful village. In the evening enjoy a Traditional 'Christmas' Dinner with all the trimmings followed by hot mince pies and coffee to accompany tonight's entertainment.
Thursday: ‘NEW YEARS EVE’
After a full English breakfast we take a full day excursion along the shores of Coniston Water to Coniston, & Bowness. Later in the day we take a cruise from Bowness to Lakeside. After returning to the hotel a 3 course carvery dinner will be followed by the bringing in of the 'New Year' with great entertainment and quiz results.
Friday:
After breakfast, it’s a fond farewell, before we leave for home at approx. 11 am
