Locally sourced farmhouse pork sausages with creamy mash and onion gravy, followed by Apple pie & Cream served during a two hour cruise along the beautiful Upper Peak Forest Canal, on The Judith Mary a family run 72 foot long canal boat which is fully central heated with a well stocked licensed bar, also offering tea and coffee and toilets on board. In the afternoon we spend some time in nearby Buxton.
